Campanula takesimana 'Elizabeth' is an upright, rhizomatous Korean bell-flower cultivar with upright graceful arching stems that hold long bell-shaped raspberry pink flowers that flushed with white on the edges. The flowers stand tall above the shiny green serrated heart-shaped foliage. Flowering is in mid to late summer. Cut back the flowers after blooming to prevent it from setting seed and this will also encourage a second round of flowering.
Plants like a well-drained position in full sun or part shade. Part shade is particularly appreciated in hotter areas. Please note, this is a fast-spreading plant - we have it in our garden but we make sure that we give it plenty of room to move about. It is excellent as a groundcover for big areas that you want covered quickly and where it will not overtake other plants. Easily propagated by division in spring or autumn
Height with flower stems to 70cm x spreading
Perennial | Hardy | Semi-deciduous in colder climates
